Lewis Hamilton showed the world once again that his wet weather mastery had returned with a bang as he claimed his 34th pole of his career, a new British record and one of his most inportant as he has a great chance of closing on team mate Nico Rosberg in the world Championship. The championship leader Rosberg was all in a spin as he lost the back end on the exit of the final corner on his final Q3 run. The Lotus of Romain Grosjean showed improvement with 10th on the grid while team mate Pastor Maldonado's dire weekend continued with 22nd and no time set. Both McLarens were knocked out in Q2 along with Kimi Raikkonen who's poor season continues. But the gauntlet has been laid down by Hamilton can the Bulls of Ricciardo and Vettel come forth or will Rosberg spoil the party? It all kicks off at 8am (UK time)
