Nico Rosberg levelled the pole trophy standings with an incredible pole in an awesome qualifying session at the British GP. It was an incredible session witch in Q1 saw Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, Felipe Massa, and Valtteri Bottas drop out with both Caterham not making the 107% rule. The changeable conditions therefore allowed Max Chilton and Jules Bianchi into Q2. Q2 didn't cause any upsets but Esterban Gutierrez slid Ono the wall to join Adrian Sutil on the sidelines after his Q1 spin. Jules Bianchi scored his best ever qualifying with 12th. But in Q3 the British fans got there money's worth with the rain coming in at Stowe it looked like Lewis Hamilton had taken pole and Sebastian Vettel would be 10th with Nico Rosberg 2nd and Sergio Perez 3rd. But Qualifying 2014 style had more to come as the freebie quali tyres went on just in case. The first two sectors were wet so Lewis Hamilton aborted his lap Sergio Perez missed the flag and Sebastian Vettel was 3 seconds off the pace. Then Nico Hulkenberg, Sebastian Vettel then Nico Rosberg went 5 seconds quicker in the final sector with magnificently dried out giving Nico Rosberg pole and left Lewis Hamilton 6th and very embarrassed after a bad call. But the grid will provide an exciting race and Silverstone will not disappoint. Lewis Hamilton can still win but the favourite is Nico Rosberg. Will it be Sebastian Vettel, Jenson Button, or Nico Hulkenberg on the podium? How will Ferrari and Williams bounce back? Watch it live on BBC 1 and Sky F1, lights out at 1:00 UK time.
