Formula One's 2014 preseason testing has now finished after 1 test in Jerez and 2 in Bahrain. Mercedes powered teams are looking the strongest with the fastest times coming from McLaren, Williams, Force India and Mercedes. Ferrari powered teams are behind except Ferrari. Ferrari are in the unknown currently but seem to be there or there about. Worse case scenario for Ferrari is being behind all the Mercedes teams. Marussia are looking good at this stage but whether their car will be ready for Australia is a concern. But Marussia are well ahead of Caterham at the current time. Caterham though are leading the Renault powered teams, which are: Torro Rosso, Lotus and Red Bull! It has been a dismal start to 2014 for Renault, Lotus and the World Champions Red Bull. Lotus missed the first test and that seems to have come back to bite them as they have really struggles at the start of 2014. But having been to all 3 tests Red Bull are in the mire. The car isn't very quick or reliable! the car has major overheating and engine problems and it has put Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo in a difficult position. While Mercedes are the favorites and Red Bull looking down and out, that was only testing. THERE ARE 0 POINTS AVAILABLE. Red Bull could have a better package come Australia and surprise everyone. Don't count them out and don't think Mercedes are going to dominate just yet.
Mercedes: Car is quick and reliable. However not 100% reliable just yet. Rumors the car is over-wight.
